By 1583 the Catholic Church installed its “reform” of time known as the Gregorian calendar. Never had the knowledge of a high civilization been so intentionally desecrated and destroyed as was that of the Maya.In one single act of conquest, humanity was deprived of the gift of the knowledge of time.
